Brigadier Mick Ryan is the current Director General Training and Doctrine (DG TRADOC) for the Australian Army.   A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the USMC Staff College and School of Advanced Warfare, he is a passionate advocate of professional education and lifelong learning.  He is responsible for educating and training the Australian Army.

This is his 2016 Reading List.  It not only gives a list of books and monographs, but also covers a series of websites, journals and twitter feeds that Australian Army soldiers and officers should explore to help develop their mastery of the Profession of Arms.
