Commander's Update Brief Exemplars

By The Cove May 16, 2019

A Commander's Update Brief (CUB) is a method of apprising the commander of incidents and events that have occurred, and informing them of activities and events that are planned for the future. CUBs are tailored to suit the commander's information requirements and the unit's battle rhythm. The commander will direct the frequency, briefing requirements and attendees.

The following (Defence Protected Network) links are to examples of a unit- and brigade-level CUB presentations, which could assist staff in developing a template for their commander's approval. Unit CUB Template Brigade CUB Template
