NAIDOC Week Activities | Australian War Memorial

By The Cove July 9, 2019

The Australian War Memorial combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive. The Memorial's purpose is to commemorate the sacrifice of those Australians who have died in war or on operational service and those who have served our nation in times of conflict. Its mission is leading remembrance and a national understanding of Australia’s wartime experience.

Check out this link for the NAIDOC week activities they have planned. If you ever needed a reason to visit the Memorial, then this is a pretty good one!

If you do decide to visit the Memorial after looking at this link, remember to tell Dr Nelson that the Cove Team sent you!
