Ted Talk | Simon Sinek | How great leaders inspire action

By The Cove April 12, 2021

World renowned author of 'Start with Why', 'Leaders Eat Last' and 'The Infinite Game'; Simon Sinek, knows how to inspire others and create a common sense of purpose to drive performance. Notably, leaders who can inspire a mutual sense of purpose and make decisions that are best for the collective will intrinsically motivate others. Chris Thorburn leverages off this idea  and applies it to our military context in his article, Learning and Leading through Collaboration.

Leaders at all levels will be most effective when a collective purpose drives behaviour. Knowing WHY you're doing something, is one of the most important motivators you can articulate to your team.
