This video is a fascinating lecture delivered by Professor Sir Hew Strachan at the University of Glasgow.  It is centred around different perspectives about the nature of war and what has and hasn't changed throughout history. Professor Strachan also discusses the importance of technology and mobilisation in shaping war outcomes at various stages, as well as shaping both social and political changes.
