Comments

For warehousing you need to have stock on wheels that remains on wheels, not dropped off or left behind because it is deemed "unimportant" to the CSST OC. You also need to have the L121 vehicles dedicated to the Supply effort with sufficient qualified drivers (OPSUP drivers and Co'ies, not truckies) who control the stores on their vehicles and know what is there. Having a senior enough Supply WO/SGT who is actually listened to by the CSST OC is a good thing as they are the ones who can tell you the stock holdings needed and what you are likely to use through analysis of stock movement in similar circumstances. The CSST needs to have stock to deliver to a supported unit, not just drive around looking good as units always take enough stores to survive the EX so you rarely ever practice logistics in the Field.
