Leading in a Learning Organisation – What’s my part to play?
In partnership with The Cove, The Centre for Australian Army Leadership (CAAL) hosted the Chief of Army’s Leadership Seminar on 4 May 2022 at ADFA in Canberra. The seminar's theme Leading in a Learning Organisation explored the importance of cultivating a learning culture in order to grow and develop ourselves and others as leaders within an Army in Motion.
The seminar was hosted by Lieutenant Jamie Martin and featured a range of leaders and experts, including:
- Lieutenant General Richard Burr, AO, DSC, MVO – Chief of Army
- Major General Jake Ellwood, DSC, AM, CSC – State Recovery Coordinator for the South East Queensland Rainfall and Flooding Queensland Reconstruction Authority
- Michelle Mitchell, OAM, OLY – Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement Lead for the Queensland Academy of Sport
- Major General Andrew Hocking, CSC – who recently released his study 'Preparing for the Future: Key Organisational Lessons from the Afghanistan Campaign'
- Dominic Price – the Head of Learning at Atlassian
