'Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.'
-Sun Tzu
When the time comes, when your life and those of your mates are in danger, do you have what it takes? Faced with the violent, harsh and demanding contest and realities of war your training will ensure you have the skills to survive the encounter, the mindset to thrive and the combat behaviour to fight and win!
Combat Behaviours, a new Army initiative, seeks to sharpen your Combat Mindset and engrain your individual Combat Skillset. It brings together Combat Shooting, Army Combatives, Combat Physical Conditioning, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, underpinned by Ethical Decision Making. Together these will equip you and your mates, with the ‘decisive advantage’ to face the physical, mental and moral rigours of close combat. By normalising the stresses of close combat through training, you will develop the determination and instinctive reactions to survive an encounter with an enemy, thrive in adversity, fight with honour and win the battle.
