Our content is now divided into five thematic areas.

  • Organisation, People and Projects (OMPP).

There are many reasons for this; to align with our PME learning clusters and broader projects such as Cove+. 

The site is also future ready for much more content than our previous site. The advanced search function allows you to find what you're looking for quicker and easier. Scroll the homepage to become familiar with your new site. It’s been made with you in mind.

Features

Features are a way to access The Cove's best content for a deep dive into a particular topic, or direct access to PME resources.

  • With the ever-changing geopolitical situation, we’ve been sure to highlight Know Your Region as key resource useful for both individual and collective PME.
  • Our QMEs were designed with our junior leaders in mind to conduct some half hour PME sessions with their teams.
  • Cove Clips give you a teaser highlight of some quality content in the hope to peak your interest for further engagement, or provide a snapshot on important information worth sharing.

Cove Talks and Cove Conferences

Be in-the-know for when the next Cove Talk or Cove Conference will commence by keeping an eye on the homepage. A countdown will commence days and moments prior to the event. Livestreamed events can also be accessed directly from the homepage and are now also viewable on the DPN! With many notable presenters already scheduled for the start of the year – ensure you #watchthisspace.

Media

The amount of content we have access to and wish to share has evolved over the last five years. We know the value of rich media as means to share and contest ideas. Expect more videos, animation, short Cove Clips, podcasts, and Audio Articles to come your way as we try to diversify our content offering to modes that suit your preference for engagement.

Our search function is as powerful as ever and remains a key way to quickly access topics you’re interested in. However, our advanced filter function has been created so you can quickly find content that suits your preferences. Filter by media type, duration, rank group, corps group, learning cluster or feature.

Control-App Notifications

We know life gets busy and we’re competing for your attention across a lot of other areas and platforms. With the release of our new site you also have more control over the frequency and type of notifications you receive with our Cove Application. Download our Cove App (available on iOS and Android) and personalise the type of content and events you wish to hear about.

New LinkedIn Account

We're keen to share our content and promote professional commentary and debate on the most suitable social media platform. To enable this, we now have a LinkedIn account, added to our already existing Twitter and Facebook social media presence.
