Corporal Christopher Hicks enlisted in the Australian Army Aviation Corps in 2019 as Ground Crew Mission Support, now called Aviation Operations Specialist. His postings included the 6 Aviation Regiment, 173 Squadron, Army Aviation Training Centre, and the School of Army Aviation as an instructor; he is currently posted to HQ Aviation Command, Defence Aviation Capability Management.
