Major McGinniss is the current Officer Commanding Administration Company within the 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment. He is a member of the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and postings include regimental, command and training appointments within the 1st Brigade, 7th Brigade and Special Operations Command, and Operational service on Operations ACCORDION, OKRA, AUGURY, and FIJI ASSIST.
