Kevin Ashford-Rowe is an RAAEC ARes member currently posted to Director Professional Military Education, HQ Forces Command. In his civilian role he is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Digital Learning) at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). At QUT Kevin leading the University’s Digital Transformation (Dx) in learning and teaching and is the designated service lead for the digital learning environment. Prior to this (2012 – 2018) Kevin was the Director of the Learning and Teaching Centre (LTC), at Australian Catholic University (ACU) where he led a student focussed Centre with a mandate to ensure that the University delivered an agenda of Teaching Excellence, by means of outstanding academic teaching and, a world class student learning experience. 
Kevin was an invited member of the International Advisory Panel for the former New Media Consortium’s 2016, 2017 and 2018 Horizon Reports. He also served as an invited member of the National Advisory Panel for the New Media Consortium’s Australian Horizon reports 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Kevin is the current President of the Council of Australasian University Leaders in Learning and Teaching (CAULLT).
