Biography
L. Burton Brender

L. Burton Brender is an active duty Army officer stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.  He is a native of Cashmere, Washington, and a member of the Military Writers Guild, the Olympia Writers Group, & Write on the River.  He is the author of Cashmere and, along with Colonel C. Rodney Patton, the poetry book In Cadence.

Why We Write
Everyone in the profession of arms has something they can give back. As L. Burton Brender explains in this Small Wars Journal article, all they have to do is sit down and start writing.
