Australia and the Palestine Campaign 1916–1918

This book explores the Palestine Campaign which involved two mounted divisions against the Ottoman Empire for three years. It was Australia's longest running military endeavour of the Frist World War after the fighting on the Western Front. It was a war of relative movement and manoeuvre with cavalry and the light horse playing a prominent role.
