The Battle of Menin Road_Back cover

A book on the Third Ypres Campaign and the battle fought by the Australian First and Second Divisions in the Battle of Menin Road. It was a well planned, well conducted attack that saw all objectives achieved. Referred to as a classic example of how a well prepared and well supported infantry can take and hold ground. But also an example of why this operational method was too slow and ineffective on the Western Front.
