The Battles Before: Case Studies in Australian Army Leadership after the Vietnam War

This book examines the role of senior leaders throughout the history of the Australian Army in relation to preparing for war, political and public pressures, and preparing for the future. The book uses five case studies that focus on strategic leadership and how the Army has grappled with political, strategic, economic and cultural change.
