One of our key aims at the Cove is to help soldiers and officers to improve their written and presentational skills. We find that almost everyone has great ideas ... but unless you can explain them well, they are worthless.

Here we share a resource that can help improve your written skills. The BBC's Skillswise site is a world-renowned collection of resources that has helped thousands of people globally with their grammar, spelling and sentence construction. It can help you to take your good ideas and make them all the more persuasive.

So take a look and dig around. You can spend five minutes, or you can take a whole structured course if you choose to allocate the time. We'd also recommend saving it as a favourite and referring to it any time you have a grammar niggle.

More to follow soon to help you improve your #bluf communication skills. Remember that your local RED is a great point of contact for advice on literacy and numeracy.
