Eddie Jaku was a Holocaust survivor who described himself as the 'happiest man on earth' and published a best selling memoir with the same title.

During World War II, he was imprisoned in four concentration camps (including Auschwitz), led a daring escape on a train, broke free from a death march, and survived the war despite losing most of his extended family.

Eddie passed away in 2021 at the age of 101.
