Major Andrew Somerville has served as an Infantry Officer in the Australian Army for more than four decades. He has extensive experience in regimental, training and staff posts as well as operational service in Somalia, East Timor, Iraq, Afghanistan and on domestic operations. Andrew is currently the Staff Officer Grade Two - Wargaming and Simulation in the Army Battle Lab. He is also the designer of the educational wargames Australian Platoon Commander and Australian Combined Arms.
