Biography
Anthony Chambers

LTCOL Anthony Chambers is the current Commanding Officer of the 3rd Health Support Battalion. He has been an active member of the Australian Army Reserve since 1995, with previous postings to the 1st Commando Regt and 1st Health Support Battalion.
He has deployed on various overseas operations to Timor Leste, Bougainville, Banda Aceh, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Ukraine.
In his civilian role he is a consultant surgeon at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, specialising in Surgical Oncology and is the Head of the Department of General Surgery. He is a Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the University of New South Wales.
