Clare was born and grew up in Newcastle. She graduated from the Royal Military College in 2011 and completed a bachelor of Business Administration in 2019. Clare has posted to the School of Ordnance, HQ 4 Brigade, the 2nd Combat Engineer Regiment and HQ 1st Division. In 2021 Clare will be the OC of 6 Field Supply Company at 7 CSSB. She has two daughters and her spouse is also serving.
