Biography
Dean Kachab
MAJ

Lieutenant Colonel Dean Kachab entered the Australian Regular Army in 2005 and has since held a number of broad technical, staff and command postings. His regimental career has included postings in Headquarters Combined Arms Training Centre, 1st Aviation Regiment, the Defence Aviation Safety Authority, 9th Force Support Battalion, most recently as Officer Commanding, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group and in Army Headquarters’ International Engagement Cell. In 2018-2019, he served as Officer Commanding of the Force Support Element in the Middle East. He is a graduate of the French Forces’ Command and Staff Course at the French War College and is presently the Chief Engineer of Army’s Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter.
