
Biography
George Bailey
George Bailey graduated from Royal Military College Duntroon in 1992 and served for 20 years as an infantry officer before retiring in 2011. During his military career he deployed to Afghanistan in 2006 as a Liaison officer with the Special Operations Task Group. Upon retirement from the Australian Army George Bailey joined Defence as a public servant and has held positions in strategic policy and planning, management of strategic capabilities, and currently fills a role as a Director in the Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Group.
