Biography

Matthew Jones

Matthew LM Jones is a Royal Australian Infantry Officer in the Army Reserves. In 2016 he was employed as the Battle Operations Captain of A Company, 41 Royal New South Wales Regiment, and promoted to second in command (2IC) in 2017. Over 2017-2018 he was employed within Battle Group Waratah as 2IC of Combat Team Bravo attending the Nabulus and Telopea series before Exercise Hamel 18. In his civilian role, Matthew is employed as a Paediatric Surgical Registrar at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne.
