Reny Pinkerton

Lieutenant Colonel Reny Pinkerton is a SERCAT 7 Royal Australian Engineer officer posted to Headquarters Forces Command, Training Plans Branch. Born and raised in Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, he has completed a Bachelor of Science, Masters of Project Management, Masters of Systems Engineering (Weapons and Ordnance), and is currently completing a Masters of Explosive Ordnance through the Australian Defence Force Academy. Reny has a background in High Risk Engineer Search, Explosive Hazard Disposal and Force Protection Engineering and Countermeasures. His operational experience includes deployments on Operation Slipper with MRTF-2 as a Combat Engineer Troop Commander in late 2009, as well as supporting the Queensland Police Service on Operation Parapet during the G20 summit in Brisbane, 2014.
