Lieutenant Ryan Abil is posted to 2nd/14th Light Horse Regiment (Queensland Mounted Infantry) where he is employed as a Troop Leader within a Cavalry Squadron. He has a Bachelor of Science, majoring in chemistry and geography.  A highlight of his career was attending the centenary celebrations of the Battle of Beersheba.
