Tara Bucknall joined the Army in 1988 and is currently the Commander of the New South Wales 2nd Australian Army Cadet Brigade. She particularly enjoys the opportunity to provide a youth development program that inspires the youth of Australia to be better community members of today and the future.
Patrick Marshall is an artificer qualified electronics technician posted to the 9th Force Support Battalion as the Electrical Instrument Repair Supervisor for the Close Maintenance Platoon. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Patrick was appointed as the Artificer Sergeant Major for the 10th Force Support Team during Exercise Hamel 2018.
Lieutenant Colonel Pete Allan has held command positions from troop to unit command, across all three of the established combat brigades. He was privileged to serve as the Brigade Major of 7 Cbt Bde 2016-17, followed by a posting to AHQ in Force Structure - Army. Post unit command, Lieutenant Colonel Allan is currently serving at the Military Assistant to Commander Forces Command.
Captain Nic Allen is a former RAEME Major and CSS Battery Commander of 4th Regiment who has recently corps transferred to AALC. He has completed a BA in Business Management and Indonesian Language, a Bachelor of Laws and Masters of Legal Practice and looks forward to continuing to write about Joint Fires and legal concepts.
Neil is a physical training instructor posted to 1st Close Health Battalion who is currently based in Darwin. His sporting background is boxing. He was a member of the 1992 British Olympic Squad, was ranked #1 in Great Britain and represented England as a boxer, coach and official. Neil was allocated to the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and received an MBE for his service to the sport of boxing.
Dallin Stirling is a mechanical engineer in the Royal Corps of Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. He first joined the Army as an artilleryman, before studying Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Queensland. He is currently posted to ASEME as a platoon commander.
