Lieutenant Zac Vitalos is a reserve infantry officer on the Australian Defence Force Gap Year (ADFGY) program, currently posted to the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment. Zac has started his a Bachelor of Psychology in his hometown of Melbourne, and has deferred this to participate in the ADFGY Program for 2022.

His regimental appointments have included the 1st Topographical Survey Squadron, 21st Construction Squadron, Adjutant of the 6th Engineer Support Regiment and sub-unit command at the 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment.
