Joseph Moormann joined the Australian Regular Army in 2001 and was allocated to the Royal Australian Army Ordnance Corps. Upon completion of initial employment training as an Operator Administrative, Captain Moormann posted to various Land/Forces Command units such as Headquarters 1st Division, Land Headquarters, 2/14 Light Horse Regiment (QMI), 1st Signal Regiment, Headquarters Army Logistic Training Centre, 3rd and 6th Battalions of the Royal Australian Regiment and more recently to the Army Personnel Support Centre as the Company Sergeant Major.
Matthew Chapman is a Logistics Officer in the Australian Regular Army, with a background in Aeronautical Engineering and Flight Test. He has served as a Maintenance Engineer at 20th Surveillance and Target Acquisition Regiment (now 20th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery) and the 6th Aviation Regiment, as a Design Engineer at the Cargo Helicopter Management Unit and as a Flight Test Engineer at Army Aviation Test and Evaluation Section. MAJ Chapman is currently the Battery Commander, Combat Service Support at 20th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery.
Lyndsay Freeman is a mother of two and a Transport Officer in the Australian Army. She has been awarded the Chief of Army Scholarship in 2020 where she will complete a Master of International Development Practice, specialising in Gender, Peace & Security, at Monash University. Lyndsay is passionate about the Army’s pivotal role in women’s empowerment across the globe, and is a driver for positive change.
Ken Bullman is the Command Sergeant Major Training and Doctrine at Forces Command within the Australian Army. Prior to his appointment, he held a series of senior training establishment positions including Regimental Sergent Major of the Royal Military College - Duntroon, as well as the Regimental Sergent Major of the Royal Military College - Australia. His background is in the Royal Australian Corps of Military Police.
Emily Chapman is a RAAF Reservist posted to the Air Liaison Organisation. She is concurrently a PhD candidate researching civil-military interaction in disaster relief operations at UNSW Canberra. Her research interests include Defence learning processes, practices and mechanisms.
