RUSI 2021 Seminar - Island Australia: Improving Resilience in a Rapidly Changing Region

The Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) is an independent think tank engaged in cutting-edge defence and security research. A unique institution, founded in 1831 by the Duke of Wellington, RUSI embodies nearly two centuries of forward thinking, free discussion and careful reflection on defence and security matters.

This year, RUSI NSW are conducting their annual major seminar at Anzac Memorial Seminar Rooms, Hyde Park Sydney at 1-5pm on Tuesday 23 Nov 2021 and this will be broadcast live via CoveTalk on and off the DPN with COMD FORCOMD and COMD 2 Div streamed live on The Cove's Facebook page (off DPN only).

The Conference is entitled, 'Island Australia- Improving Resilience in a Rapidly Changing Region' and will be opened by RUSI NSW Patron, the Governor of NSW, followed by a very distinguished line-up of speakers including:

  • Navy - Australian Fleet Commander
  • Army - Forces Commander
  • Army - Commander 2nd Division
  • RAAF - Air Commander
  • NSW Defence Industry Advocate
  • CEO Thales Australia and New Zealand
  • Vice Chancellor, University of Newcastle
