CPL Laura Hando grew up in Lithgow, NSW and enlisted into the Royal Australian Army on 10 Jul 12 as an Administration Clerk. CPL Hando’s postings have included Career Management - Army, 2nd Combat Engineer Regiment, Network Implementation and Advisory Team, 7th Combat Service Support Battalion and she is currently posted to the Defence Force School of Signals.

CPL Hando has also served on Operation ACCORDION. She been awarded the Operational Service Medal and Operation Service Badge as well as the Australian Defence Medal. CPL Hando has also been awarded an Army Bronze Level Commendation.

CPL Hando has a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) and is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management.

CPL Hando loves animals, travelling and keeping fit, with a passion for CrossFit.
