Neil Mackay
Sergeant

Sergeant Neil Mackay is a highly experienced Uncrewed Aerial Systems Operator in the Australian Regular Army with approximately 15 years of service. Since re-enlisting in 2014, he has specialised in the Shadow 200 and A61 Integrator UAS, supporting both domestic and international operations. His deployments include OP Apec Assist 18, providing aerial overwatch during the APEC Summit; OP Resolute, delivering maritime surveillance in the Torres Strait; and OP Mazurka, where he served as a Watchkeeper in the Sinai. At 20th Regiment, he held key technical and command roles. He is currently posted to the School of Artillery as a UAS Instructor, developing Army’s future UAS capability.
