This unit will explore the psychological processes that underlie people’s judgements and decisions. The unit will explore the applied implications of the various perspectives on decision-making, how people make decisions in numerous domains, including consumer, social, clinical, managerial, and organisational decision making in low and high-pressure situations. Discusses the impact of the media and external stimulus on our choices and how different decision-making strategies can influence decision outcomes. This unit is aimed at students at varying levels of leadership to broaden foundations in effective decision making.
