J. David Thompson is a U.S. Army Civil Affairs Major. He has a Juris Doctorate from Washington Lee School of Law. He also holds a BS in Economics and MBA-Leadership from Liberty University. Captain Tilque is a Combat Engineer Officer.  His postings include regimental time at the 2nd and 3rd Combat Engineer Regiments; an instructional posting at the School of Military Engineering; and staff appointments at Land Doctrine and HQ Forces Command.  He is currently the S33 at 3 CER.

Captain Joseph Thomas currently works in Regimental Operations at 16th Air Land Regiment. His previous positions include three years commanding a RBS 70 Troop and two years of working with the RAAF as a Ground Liaison Officer.
