Major Edward Farrell is an Army Reserve officer with 15 years’ service in the ADF. His postings include Officer Commanding 142 Signals SQN, HQ Forces Command, 138 Signals SQN and Sydney University Regiment. In addition to 18 years’ experience in the cyber security industry, including as the director of a Sydney-based cyber security practice, Edward lectures at the Australian Defence Force Academy as an industry fellow.
Colin Leggett joined the Army in 1995 and is currently posted to the School of Military Engineering as the Wing Sergeant Major, Construction Wing. Colin Corps enlisted into the RAE as an electrician and has served as a tradesman, Construction Foreman, Works Supervisor and Works Manager on exercises and operations, both domestically and internationally.
CHAP Renton McRae enlisted in the ARA in June 1982 as an infantry soldier. He passed selection for SASR in 1985 and served in 3 SAS Squadron, specialising in vehicle mounted operations. CHAP McRae discharged from Army to pursue theological studies with the long term goal of returning to Army as a chaplain. After completing a Diploma of Ministry (Hon) and a Bachelor of Theology CHAP McRae was commissioned as a minister of religion in 1995 and served as the senior minister at Tuggeranong Churches of Christ ACT.
Commando Training Centre’s Royal Marines Command Wing delivers training for LCpl to WO1 (RSM) and for Young Officers to CO (Desig). The Wing’s purpose is to enhance RM capability by developing agile decision makers equipped with the right knowledge, skills and attitudes to successfully command, lead and manage in barracks and on commando operations acting at reach and against an overwhelming adversary.
