Imagine: camouflage that passively confuses and disrupts drones. Or, being able to manipulate a tank’s electro-magnetic signature so as to make it disappear, or appear bigger, or appear to move, or appear to remain still.

Imagine being able to replace a full scale antenna with a battery-sized disposable unit. Imagine a remote turret that can be reconfigured for air defence, anti-armour, or multi-mission capabilities within thirty minutes.

What if we were able  to precisely weigh a truck by driving it between two portable tripods? Or precisely measure degradation of vehicle equipment without touching it?

Imagine a drone that uses AI to autonomously find, follow, and employ effects upon adversary assets.

All of these and more were on display as ideas, prototypes, or full production showcases at the recent Army Innovation Day, Quantum Tech Challenge, and Robotics Expo in Perth, as part of the Chief of Army Symposium 2023.
