Preparing for Subject One (Part 1 & 2) via CAL

Have you ever rocked up to a course (any course) and realised you were totally unprepared? Maybe you didn't read the Joining Instruction properly? Or didn't know about the pre-course? Maybe you could have got a head start somewhere?

Soldiers going on a Subject One (SUB 1) course have a unique opportunity to demonstrate that they are ready for promotion. It's a chance to make a good impression, gain new skills, develop leadership, and learn from peers and experienced mentors.

The 'Preparing for Sub One' article (Part 1) and (Part 2) is sourced from interviews with Warrant Officers and Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (WONCO-A) staff and instructors. It contains 52 tips that will help students not just pass the course, but gain maximum benefit from it.
