Haydn has twelve years Army Chaplaincy experience. Haydn’s life experience and education includes having completed a trade as a fitter and machinist; a Bachelor of Theology; spiritual direction formation; and a Master of Arts. He published three books, ‘Beneath a Sea of Masks – A Book of Poetry’; ‘Keeping yourself SAFER – developing habitual resilience and wellbeing practices in the community,’ and ‘The Resilient Fighting Force – developing habitual resilience and wellbeing practices in the military.’ Haydn lives in Brisbane, with his wife and two sons.
Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Johnson is an infantry officer and has served as a platoon commander, company commander and commanding officer in The Royal Australian Regiment. He has deployed to Timor-Leste and Afghanistan and has held a range of regimental, instructional, staff and representational appointments in the ADF and with coalition partners.
Sergeant Edward Howson was born on 13 May 1990 in Southport, Queensland. He enlisted into the Australian Regular Army on 9 July 2007 as a Cavalry Crewman ASLAV within the Royal Australian Armoured Corps. On completion of his initial employment training, Sergeant Howson was posted to the 2/14th Light Horse Regiment (Queensland Mounted Infantry) in May 2008.
Hal Wilson is a member of the Military Writers Guild, and uses narrative to explore technology and future conflict. He has written finalist entries for fiction contests with the Atlantic Council’s Art of the Future Project, the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, and has been published by the Small Wars Journal. Hal lives in the United Kingdom.
Jason Logue recently accrued thirty years of service in the ADF – the past twenty of which have been almost solely focussed on planning, integrating, and achieving effects in the information environment. In the absence of a formalised career approach, he is one of the handful of ADF officers with more than a single posting as an information staff officer working across capability specialist and information environment generalist roles. He has undertaken a broad range of information-environment related military and post-graduate professional education.
