Matthew Chapman is a Logistics Officer in the Australian Regular Army, with a background in Aeronautical Engineering and Flight Test.  He has served as a Maintenance Engineer at 20th Surveillance and Target Acquisition Regiment (now 20th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery) and the 6th Aviation Regiment, as a Design Engineer at the Cargo Helicopter Management Unit and as a Flight Test Engineer at Army Aviation Test and Evaluation Section.  MAJ Chapman is currently the Battery Commander, Combat Service Support at 20th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery.
 

Captain Other-Gee is an Artillery Officer, and the current Battery Captain for 1st Air Ground Operations Battery.

David Hindmarsh is a Logistics Officer and has served numerous postings within the Sustainment Brigade and within Headquarters 7th Combat Brigade. He is the current Lead Instructor of the Logistics Officer Intermediate Course at the Army School of Logistic Operations.

Eamon Hale joined the Army Reserve in 2004, as an M113A1 crewman. He transferred to the Regular Army in 2007, being posted to numerous units with the RAAC and Army. He has deployed on operation to Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as exchange to Canada, and training officer cadets  in PNG. 
In mid-2017, Eamon left the regular Army and returned to the Army reserve. 

The role of the 17th Brigade is to provide sustain the forces of the Australian Army and Australian Defence Force through the provision of logistics, health support, contracted services and amenities.
